We, therefore, teach several disciplines of Martial Arts (pure and mixed):

More Than 45 Years of ISDS
Founded in Belgium in 1980, the International Self Defence School has more than four decades of history in practical self-defence and martial arts training.
Throughout the years, the school has continued to develop by bringing together knowledge from different martial arts traditions while remaining focused on realistic and effective self-defence.
This rich history is reflected in the ISDS logo, which brings its core martial arts systems together within golden circles symbolising personal growth, continued learning and the wider world of martial arts.
Sifu/Guro Patrick Van Vlasselaer
More than 50 years of martial arts knowledge and experience
Sifu Patrick began his martial arts journey in 1970 and has spent more than
five decades studying, practising and teaching a wide range of martial arts and
self-defence systems.
He is a direct and active student of the internationally renowned Guro Dan Inosanto, who trained directly under Bruce Lee.
Sifu Patrick holds the qualification of Full Instructor Level 15 in Jun Fan Gung Fu–Jeet Kune Do and Filipino Martial Arts.
Throughout his long career, Sifu Patrick has trained with many highly respected masters and instructors. Their knowledge, combined with his own extensive teaching experience, forms the foundation of the diverse and practical training offered at ISDS.
